How To Get There

From Fiumicino airport: It is possible to pick a taxi from the airport (approximate cost of about 45-60 euros) or you can take the "Leonardo Express" train that leads to Termini station (ticket 14.00 euros per person).

From Termini Station: We are about 1 Km from Termini Station. Below, you will find the alternatives to reach the hotel:

a) By taxi: Leave the station from the front exit and head towards the official taxi station. Official taxis have a light on the roof and a numeric code on the side door. Do not go with anyone who approaches, around or in the station area, offering to help you with your luggage and take you to a taxi - it could be expensive!

b) By bus: In the area in front of the station, there is a bus park. There you can take the no. 64, 40 express or 170 and get off at the "ESPOSIZIONE" stop in via Nazionale. Bus tickets must be purchased before boarding, or at the machines near the buses or at any newsagent or "Tabacchi" shop. The cost is 1.50 EUR. The ticket must be validated at the yellow machines on the bus.

c) On foot: Exit the front entrance and cross the bus park and in front of you you will find a tree-lined street called Viale V. Einaudi which leads to Piazza Della Repubblica. From here, take the main road on your left and continue straight, turn left into Via Genova and right into Via Palermo, we are there waiting for you!

History...

ROME AND VIRGIL, HISTORY AND MYTH
To celebrate the foundation of Rome on 21 April 753 BC during the Imperial Roman era, Virgil composed the Aeneid. In this epic poem, where history and legend meet to tell the tale of the tireless Trojan hero, Aeneas, the ideas of strength, grandness and Roman civility are celebrated.
